Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to this guy!

Luke slept in while Chloe & I unpackaged cinnamon rolls... Yeah, lame, I know.  Once the timer dinged, Chloe, Luke & "Baby" devoured the pan. Check out these photos:

Super sweet way to start our day celebrating our daddy. Happy {late} Father's Day.
We love you!!!

17 months young!

My sweet, beautiful girl is 17 months old. She is like my fine wine that keeps getting better with age!

All about her:

-Knows not only what things are called, but is correlating to what they are… slippers go on your feet, mama's car means go, and we eat strawberries

-Goes down for nap and nigh-night without a fuss

- Asks to read alllllllll day

-Favorite food remains oh-meal and brock-ee

-Walks backward around the house sometimes :)

-Wants to throw everything in the "tash" -- even found Luke's wedding ring in the bathroom trash can this week!

-Has all her books named: In the Beginning "Eve", Snuggle Puppy "Ohhhhhh" (line from the book), Good Morning, I love you this Much "Much", Good Night "Nigh-Night", and my favorite one is The Little Engine that Could is "Papa" because there is a man fishing on the 4th page and we know that's what Papa does  :)

-Started working on saying Grammy & G-pa this month which translates into Hammy & He-pa. It's so sweeeeeet.

-Very clingy to one parent or the other most night. Two nights in a row, she refused to let me anywhere near her at bedtime then the next night she'd kick & scream when Luke tried to hug her before bed.... weird.

-Does this new adorable gradual-volume-increase when she isn't being listened to.. starts as a plain voice water, water, water, water (add a notch) Water, Water, Water, Water (pump it up another notch) Water! Water! Water! Water! (all out yell now) WATER! WATER! WATER! WATER!

-Prays now... eyes closed, hands folded, yells "amen" at the end. It's so precious. The best part, when we are praying before bed, I will thank Jesus for all the family, house, job, etc. When I am quiet for a second, she either says no or amen. No means we keep praying, amen means we are done. I love it!

More in the life of Chloe Jane...

Until next time!
