9 month -- continuation post!

My last post was a bit rushed in an effort to get as close to her "9 month" date as possible. As we look and think about who Chloe is, I've remembered a few more things that I want to share.

Nicknames throughout her 9 months of life:
Tickles
CJ
Bugs
Bug-Bug
Chlo
Chlo-Chlo
Bugsy

*17 lb  0.6oz as of yesterday
*Hums while swinging or on walks
*Graduated to size 3 diapers this month
*Disclaimer: Luke hates the percentile comparison but I thought this month was interesting so I will share this once -- Chloe is in 10% for her weight but 50% in her height!
*LOOOOOOVES the dishwasher
*Points, chats, and waves at nearly everyone in the grocery store
*Eats 3 solid meals a day including oatmeal, chicken, veggies, fruit, etc
*Has started a lovely habit of getting up again in the night to eat. Dr said yesterday that this might be our doing instead of hers. We are feeding her less & less bottle but more often than most which makes her want the same at night.
*Just starting to bark at dog picture on our wall.... well, bark is an overstatement. Check out the video:

9 months

Whew. Time is flying by and we are having fun!! Our baby girl passed her 9 month mark and I'm having the most fun with this age. She's changed and grown so much. Her hair is getting longer. Her attitude is starting to show through... that even includes a little temper. She smiles so big that she closes her eyes. It's been quite a while since I've blogged so I will try to upload lots of photos!

A few things about Chloe Jane:
*16 lb, 7 oz
*Points at EVERYTHING
*Successfully picks up food and feeds herself
*Continues to love everything we've fed her except cantaloupe
*Still has 5 teeth
*Crawls all over. One of her favorite places to get stuck is under our dining chairs.
*Pulls up so quickly and walks along furniture
*Starting to let go and stand for a few seconds here & there
*Goes to the nursery for Mom's Club. Her report: "she's very social"
*Got her first ear infection this week
*Wearing 9 or 12month clothing
*Loves to walk while holding onto our fingers
*Gets into cupboards & drawers
*Doesn't like to sit still for her bottle
*Looooooooves to sneak over and chew on our shoes

It's been a busy month. Chloe & I made a trip to Nebraska to visit Mimi & Papa, cousins, Auntie Effie, her great grandparents, and had a great time.
