Friday night we had a little ice cream date with some our friends and talked babies, went to a wedding on Saturday, and then I spent some good time on Sunday with my dear pal Kaelee.
More details? Well, yes. I'd love to share!
Saturday night we celebrated Derek & Katrina Woods' wedding. Although it was a beautiful wedding with great food and very yummy cake, my favorite part had to be watching Luke's family feel Chloe kick for their first times. She was being a little stubborn but daddy got her straightened out. Something about the warmth of his hands wakes her up and she performed quite nicely after that. However, for a while, she was getting the glare from Daddy and Auntie as they "talked it out" with her about her unwillingness to cooperate.... check out this adorable photo. I know the quality is bad but it's too cute:
She'd been kicking a little and Jacy wasn't able to feel it. Jacy watched as Luke would put his hands on my belly and how she'd kick right away. So, she rubbed her hands together, told Big Daddy to get out of the way, and put her warmed hands on my tummy. Sure enough, a few seconds later her eyes lit up and she yelled ( and yes, if you know Jacy you know how loud she can sometimes get) "I FELT HER KICK!!" Melted my heart. Jill got a turn next and after a bit of little flutters, she let out a big one for Grandma to feel :) What a fun way to end the evening!!

Kaelee and I decided that we were going to be creative and take up knitting. Yeah.... so, that didn't happen. Instead, we settled on making wreaths. Happy fall!
P.S. Kaelee wil sell her wreath to you for $65 if you are interested :)
